Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates about when we expect to have the service restored.
An all new FashionHarp is coming next month
Big changes are coming to FashionHarp. Next month we’ll be unveiling an entirely new website and updated iOS and Android apps – we have rebuilt our entire technical infrastructure from …
We’ve written before about why FashionHarp’s technology needs an update – and about the members who continue to test and provide feedback on our new site. Let’s take a behind-the-scenes
The FashionHarp website is a powerful tool that members use to make incredible connections each day. But its infrastructure is old. Really old – FashionHarp’s codebase dates back a decade (approximately an eternity, in website time).
We’ve been rebuilding the site’s infrastructure (which also powers our mobile applications) behind the scenes for the past several months.
FashionHarp Staff Working
All of our staff members are currently in the wilds of the office, working to rebuild the service. We look forward to going out again once we have the new site technology up and running to support it!

FashionHarp.com never uses social media to contact artists or models.
Please do not engage in conversations with anyone claiming to be a FashionHarp or agent who randomly contacts you through social media websites. The chances they are a real agent is next to nil.
For more information please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
FashionHarp.com is dedicated to protecting the safety and well-being of artists and models. Unfortunately, there are individuals who may try to prey on your modeling ambitions by impersonating representatives of FashionHarp.com.
The imposters will often contact you directly through social media and email, therefore, you must be very careful before engaging in conversations with them.
- FashionHarp.com will NEVER contact you through social media.
- Any email that you receive from FashionHarp.com will be from the email domain email@example.com only. We will only contact you if you contacted us first.
- Real agents do not conduct interviews online through webcam, Skype, Facetime, Instagram, Snapchat, or other apps. FashionHarp.com NEVER conducts interviews using these applications.
- FashionHarp.com never requests photos in the nude or lingerie.
- Always independently verify the identity of any individual claiming to be a representative of FashionHarp.com, or any other modeling company, by sending us an email through our contact page.
If you have been contacted by someone claiming to be a FashionHarp.com rapresentative, please contact us immediately
We are not a model agency - we connect models with agencies and photographers, which makes us completely objective when presenting models.
Please direct all emails to firstname.lastname@example.org Due to the high volume of emails, we cannot respond to every email. Please attach all images to email.
Do not send us a link to download hi-res files for print. We don’t need them.
Please include all accurate details with your email: is it an editorial from a magazine, an exclusive pitch, etc.? What is the label, the model’s full name? Etc.
All Submissions – Please submit images at 800 pixels wide.
Please email once only and make sure credits are correct the first time. We try to get to emails in the order they are received. During busier times, it may take over 48 hours to respond, but in most cases it should be sooner. Unfortunately because of the number of submissions received on a daily basis, not everything can be posted.
Due to the number of submissions received, priority will be given to printed work from long-established publications and stories with strong style narratives. Please provide publication/magazine, photographer, stylist and model credits. If images do not have labels credited, please provide at least three labels that are featured in the shoot.
Submissions are welcomed but for commissioned projects, models and fashions that have been previously covered on FashionHarp are preferred. If approved, please send clothing credits in the following format: Model wears shirt Prada, trousers Salvatore Ferragamo and shoes Burberry Prorsum. Following the correct format will help us get your exclusive posted sooner.
Celebrity Style Watch
Please include images, event information and as much information about the look as possible.
Fashion (Lookbooks, Campaigns, etc.)
We cannot feature everything but we try to offer a mix of labels, both established and new. Please provide photographer, stylist and/or model credits if applicable. If available, please send collection press release. This is always helpful.
Please submit general questions or concerns.
Photographers: By submitting your work, you are giving us the right to post featured material indefinitely. Please do not email at a later time asking for work to be removed because your aesthetic changed.
Send an email and we will send our media kit with rates.

Fashion: Covers a range of different disciplines within the fashion world, including runways and editorial, commercial print, catalogue and glamour modeling.
High Fashion: When you see the incredibly tall and lean figures that grace the runways and editorials for the leading fashion houses and designers, these are the High Fashion models. They are generally required to be between 172cm to 180cm (5"8 to 5"11), with a dress size of 4-6 US (6-8 UK), with a typical bust size of 34. The age range can be from 14 to 25. For guys the age range is more flexible and they can start from the age of 16 until their late 40's. They need to be between 180cm to 188cm (5"11 to 6"2), with an excellent physique and a chest size of 94cm to 106cm (37" to 42") and 76cm to 81cm (30" to 32") waist. Guys tend to have longer careers if they look after themselves.
Real Life & People: If you like the idea of modeling, but do not fit into the above categories, then this could be for you. Real life models are used in advertising or corporate campaigns, when companies are looking to represent the everyday person. As a TV/Film Extra you will generally be non-featured (no speaking parts) and in the background of a scene. This can be fun and interesting to be part of, but it can also be long hours with lots of waiting around. The benefits are that if you are flexible with your days, it can be a good way to supplement your income.

You are likely to hear that to be a model you need to be beautiful, tall and slender with perfect proportions. Now this is certainly true for high fashion models, where designers want one type of model that they feel shows off their designs in the best way.
We believe that to be a model is about having "the right look", the right shots and the right place/people to show them to. As we are not a model agency (we offer a place for models to connect with agencies, photographers and other industry professionals), we highly encourage all new models to find and get representation through a reputable model agency. So you're at the right place to find one!

FashionHarp.com works with numerous independent agencies, scouts, photographers, makeup artists, and industry professionals who frequently use our service to promote their models, scout for new models, and provide their services. These individuals or companies may ask to post your photos in our databases to help them promote you to top international agencies, this is fine.
WE GUARANTEE - All photos submitted and uploaded into your profile will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by legitimate and experienced agents.
WE GUARANTEE - When you choose the Photo Submit Service your photos will be reviewed and evaluated by the FashionHarp Team and the results of your Photo Submit Report will be completed and submitted to you within 10 business days from the date of submission.
In the past a model's composite card was a printed card with a selection of the model's best photos. The card was then mailed or given to numerous agents, scouts and clients. Composite cards were usually printed in the thousands and were very costly. Today, most models use online composite cards. The online version is basically the same, with a selection of your best photos, that you can email (rather than mail) to numerous recipients at a time.
By having your profile online at FashionHarp as a model, you create a sense of urgency in the agents and scouts to sign you before another agent snaps you up! We've heard countless stories from models who, even after submitting their photos to agencies themselves, didn't get signed until they were on FashionHarp. We love that! Online profile at FashionHarp is much more efficient and cost-effective than mailing photos to agencies, having a separate website, traveling to modeling conventions and searches or taking modeling classes.

If you are still having trouble, see if you can get them to load in a different browser. Still having trouble? It might be your ad-blocker. If you have one, try turning it off and see if that makes any difference. Lastly, you might try clearing your browser data.
