Vans’ Holiday Collection 2016 Celebrates its ‘Off the Wall’ Heritage
Have you heard that Vans’ Holiday Collection 2016 features vintage prints and you can’t handle it!?
Just in time for Christmas Vans decided to release a new collection to celebrate its “Off the Wall” heritage.
No like any other collection, this one is special because it celebrates their 50th anniversary, so they decided to come up with a bunch of new stuff for their ‘Off the Wall’ heritage.
The designer of this special collection is brand’s unofficial ‘ambassador of fun’ Steve Van Doren.
Doren and his team went back in time to bring back some vintage Vans prints to which they added a modern take and called Holiday collection.
Among those modern touches are added to classic skull and bones prints, which were updated to include festive candy cane and Santa hats across the Sk8-Ho 38 and Old Skool 36 reissue silhouettes.
The canvas and suede blend finished Sidestripe shoe collection have their special decorative laces with “Ho Ho Ho 50” print.
However, you might have thought that the collection only includes footwear, but no. The Vans Holiday Collection is not all shoes, but also includes long sleeve-t-shirt, pullover hoodie, and sweater decorated with the skull and bones Santa prints.
