In their first official visit to the French capital, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked a picture of elegance and affability as they worked through a packed schedule of activities during their two-day trip that ended Saturday afternoon with a rugby match between Wales and France –which Wales lost, despite the presence of the royal couple.
In the morning, they started at Les Invalides, a Parisian landmark built in the 17th century for military veterans, where they met with veterans and victims of last year’s terrorist attacks in Nice and Paris and visited the Musée d’Orsay, which houses one of the world’s best collection of Impressionist paintings.
